The Fight Club Includes…
Great question!
Our guess is that not everyone you are already friends with or even attend church with agrees 100% with everything that you believe or think! If they do, I bet your circle of influence and friendships is pretty small.
As such, Get In The Fight ministries is not a place that aims to replace your local church but is designed primarily as a resource to help encourage Christian men to actively fight to live for Jesus (which you committed to do when you first confessed your sin and made Jesus Lord of your life!) and to provide a place where iron sharpens iron.
We will aim to respect one another with a lot of grace and not be critical of one another on minor areas where we may (or do) disagree.
If, in the end, you feel like you must fully agree with each person on every theological point that you hold dear in order to be a part of this community - then this may not be a comfortable place for you. We will seek to major in the majors and minor in the minors and honor Christ in every way we can. If you're interested in doing that, then keep reading and feel free to apply. We can discuss these things more fully in your application interview process.

Absolutely!
You have options to give monthly or as a one-time gift and both are greatly appreciated and helpful!
Strike Force is like a men's-only small group and is the CORE component of Get In The Fight. It is what we believe will provide men with the highest probability of truly getting in and winning the fight long term!
Each Strike Force is made of up 4-6 men who are current members of The Fight Club. Each group will commit to meeting online - via Zoom or a similar meeting space - for one hour or less per month at a time agreed upon by the group.
During the meeting, Strike Force members will have the opportunity to truly connect and grow with other Fight Club members from across the world. Each meeting will consist of a discussion around the previous Challenges and Reflection Questions that come via email each week and members will help hold one another accountable for memorizing the Scripture of the week and to prayer for one another throughout the next month.
Get In The Fight’s mission is to help men become the men that God meant for them to be. We believe that the heart of this mission is best fulfilled when men connect with other like-minded men who are similarly committed to getting in the fight. That is why we place such a high emphasis on joining one.
Over time, the goal is to have a diverse selection of Strike Force groups available. The goal is that there will be groups that men could join based on personal likes and interests. For example, there may be a group for men who are interested in Hunting, Fishing, Guns, Books, Motorcycles, etc.
How cool would it be to grow and help challenge other men committed to fighting for and with you - who all happen to have similar passions and interests as you! That’s the goal and power of Strike Force groups. They are a lot of fun and will be instrumental in helping you to fight and win!

Simply email us and let us know and we'll take you off the list. Hopefully, you'll continue to fight on your own and engage with us with the free content we offer such as podcasts, newsletters, and social media platforms, in particular.

The leadership at Get In The Fight ministries loves the Church, the bride and body of Jesus Christ. Our aim, then, is to pursue ministry strategies that encourage, equip, support, and strengthen the local churches where men who use our ministry attend. We do not support anyone’s attempt to use Get In The Fight as a means of replacing personal involvement in the life of their local churches in any way. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Furthermore, while we certainly teach biblical concepts and use God’s Word (see our Statement of Faith) to direct our programs and content, we are not a teaching ministry, per se. Our hope is to be an example of - and to - men who are fighting to live the life God meant for us to live and to direct men back to the teaching of bible-believing, Jesus-honoring local churches under the guidance of their pastors and elders.
Get In The Fight is not a substitute for a man’s commitment to or accountability to a local church body. We are simply a support system that hopes to inspire and encourage men to get better connected to their local body and community. We want to help men play the role that God has given him to play as a man within that local community - not apart from it.
We further believe that the local church is critical to a man’s spiritual development and growth. Outside ministries (such as Get In The Fight) ought to help support and strengthen the local church - not compete with it or seek to diminish its importance. As such, we will seek to encourage men to become the men that God meant for them to be. This includes encouraging men to be fully committed to serving their local church and community through the gifting that God has given to him for the building up of the Church and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
We see Get In The Fight as analogous to a gas station for Christian men who are on a long journey. If men do not stop regularly to get refueled and refreshed, they will not make it to the end of their journey as healthy and strong as they could or should be. We see this playing out every day with men who are attending our local churches but are not becoming the men that God meant for them to be. As such, we seek to provide men with a space that is geared specifically to those who desire to grow and live “life to the fullest” as Jesus offered and who recognize their need to find further accountability, belonging, and community than they currently are experiencing.
The end goal, then, of Get In The Fight is to help men go back into their homes, churches, places of work, and communities better equipped and more committed to the mission of Jesus to share the Gospel wherever they go.
Like a missionary agency connected to local church bodies, Get In The Fight hopes that local churches will endorse and support the ministry with prayer and encouragement. A missionary and their ministry to a specific area or group of people is not thought of as replacing the local church but rather as a partner with it in a very specific and strategic way to reach a group of people with the Gospel - namely, men who profess to be followers of Jesus. We believe and see Get In The Fight in a similar way. We seek to reach, encourage, and inspire Christian men to live bigger, better lives and to help them become the men that God meant for them to be - in partnership (not in place of) their local church body.
**Get In The Fight is not formally affiliated with any church or ministry and does not necessarily represent the thoughts, beliefs, or ideas of the local church(es) or other affiliated groups or organizations of which the leadership of Get In The Fight attends or is associated with.
